IT'S FINE, I'M FINE
Comedy Drama

A happy/sad short-form series that follows a suburban psychologist and the ups and downs of her patients as they explore love, loss, anxiety, obsession and the uncertain future ahead. It celebrates the mess and melancholy of life with elements of unexpected magical realism.

To Joanne, her patients are a welcome distraction, but to Joanne’s patients, their time unfolds in magical and unexpected ways. With raining ash, delusions of grandeur and magical poo; the series asks, for all of humanity’s idiosyncrasies and flaws, how or why do we choose to persist and find the magic?
Over 12 short episodes we’re treated to an assortment of anxieties, fears and phobias, delivered with an eclectic mix of humour, heart and pathos. Some stories are darkly comic. Others are hauntingly poignant. But all unfold with a raw unflinching honesty.
The series is written by a diverse range of emerging Australian writers/actors from different backgrounds and abilities including queer, deaf and Down syndrome.
